Two anatomically shaped, viscoelastic pads sit exactly behind the lateral and medial malleolus, protecting the area from pressure peaks. During movement, the knit and pads provide a pain relieving, intermittent compression massage effect. Circulation around the joint capsule and tendon insertions is stimulated, allowing edemas, effusions and hematomas to be reduced much faster. The support additionally stimulates the stabilizing muscles, and improves sensorimotor function. The ankle joint is strengthened long-term, reducing strain on the ligaments. MalleoTrain’s breathable knitted fabric is comfortable to wear on the skin, and regulates the moisture exchange. Its anatomical shape guarantees a secure hold and high wearing comfort. The support’s particularly elastic edges gently conduct the compression outward and prevent slippage and uncomfortable constriction. A small, supplied donning aid makes the support easy to put on.
